Hi Clay support, My company's email domain changed. We can no longer access our team's paid Clay account or history (Google sign-in opens a whole fresh Clay account). Help?
If “Continue with Google” is opening a fresh Clay account, it usually means your original paid workspace is tied to your old Google-authenticated email, and the new domain is being treated as a different login.
To get access back to the original paid account/history, your email on the existing account needs to be updated to the new address. If you already created a second account with the new email, that duplicate account needs to be deleted first before the email can be moved over.
Reply with:
old email on the paid account
new email you want to use
whether you already made a new account with the new email
Is that what you were looking for?
Unclear whether I went through the whole flow (maybe?)
What are the next steps to resolve?
Next steps depend on whether you’re trying to change your login email or just the billing email.
If you need to update the email on your Clay account (so you can access the same workspace/history), share: a. your current email (lisa@town.com) b. the new email (lisa@corp.town.com) c. confirm whether you created a separate Clay account with the new email - if so, that duplicate needs to be deleted first.
Did that answer your question?
No. I already responded with the information requested. What are the next steps after that? Would be good to connect w a human if the bot cannot handle.
I understand your frustration, and I’m routing you to our human team now so they can assist you further.

Hey there Lisa sorry for the delay here, to confirm is the Lisa@corp.town.com the new domain?
yes, LuisArturo hi! confirming that's my new email address / our new domain
Hey,
Can you confirm if you’re still able to receive emails on the previous address, or if you can contact us from that email instead? We need to verify ownership before making any updates.
Ownership verification can be done by sending an email from the previous address, receiving an email there, or adding a specific value to a text record on the previous domain.
Let me know if you have more questions.
We have forwarding set up, but it's a little spotty.
Of these 3, it looks like trying to receive an email there would be easiest to try, what the next step?
Request sent !
Let me know if you have more questions
Thanks, just responded!
