I'm looking whether and how I can limit which columns I pull from HubSpot when either importing objects from lists or using the HubSpot lookup function. I've seen some references to being able to limit which columns are being imported but can't find it in Clay ;-(
You can selectively choose which data fields to import from HubSpot in Clay. With access to over 370 properties from HubSpot, you can tailor your import to include precisely the information you need - for instance, you might choose to pull email addresses and company names for each contact. When importing, you'll have options to: ** Include read-only properties (helpful for non-editable fields) ** Exclude empty properties (reduces clutter in your Clay table) Once imported, data appears in a single column with all associated values. You can then extract specific data points by clicking into a record and selecting the data field you need, then extract multiple fields to separate columns for better organization.
That's not what I'm looking for. The customer I'm working for wants to limit the data before it's being pulled in Clay. The solution you've provided toggles which data is presented in a Clay table; but at that stage it's already somewhere in Clay, correct?
Hey there Mattijs thanks for reaching out, sorry for the delay here, to clarify here if you are trying to limit which properties will be added to Clay when importing, then this would be done within HubSpot by editing the Property visibility inside of HubSpot, from the Property Management menu
Wow that sounds like a really neat feature. Is that available in the Clay app settings in HubSpot?
Hey there Mattijs sorry for the delay here, within the the companies page, you can click on "Actions" and then select "Edit Properties".
From here you can select which properties you want to manage access for which will appear as "Manage access"
