If you’ve hit that limit, the only solution is to reduce the size of the content you’re adding to the column. You can do this with a formula like you mentioned by capping it at 8,000 characters. Alternatively, you can split the data into two formula columns—one with the first 4,000 characters and the second with the remaining 4,000.
