Hey Team, Is find recent linkedin post feature not working? I am not getting the option.
I apologize for the confusion. The "find recent LinkedIn post" feature you're referring to is actually called "Social Posts" in our system. This feature is available as an import source and as an action/enrichment column in Clay to find recent professional posts from people. If you're not seeing this option, it's possible you're looking in the wrong place. Here's what you can do: 1. Check if you can use it as an import source to find posts by specific individuals. 2. Look for it as an action/enrichment column to get posts, comments, shares, and likes from users and specific posts. If you still can't find or use this feature, it might be a technical issue. In that case, you may want to request human assistance by clicking on "Talk to a person" for further help.
how to get linkedin company recent post
To get recent LinkedIn posts from a company using Clay, you can use the "Find Recent Posts by User or Company" action. This feature allows you to retrieve recent social media posts associated with a specific company profile. Alternatively, you can use the "Social Posts" feature in Clay. While it's primarily designed for finding posts from individual profiles, you might be able to use it for company posts as well. You can try using it as an import source or as an action/enrichment column to get posts, comments, shares, and likes. If you need more data or can't find what you're looking for, consider using Claygent, our built-in AI research tool with web access. Using advanced AI models like Argon or OpenAI's GPT 4o with Claygent might yield better results for finding company posts.
Hi Zaid, thank you for reaching out! The new enrichment is called "Social Posts", and it allows you to extract public posts made by a contact, along with additional engagement data such as who liked or interacted with the post (when available). To access it, head to "Add Enrichment" in your workflow, then search for and select "Social Posts" from the list. Once added, you’ll be able to configure the parameters and see the kind of social content and engagement data you can retrieve. Let us know if you have any questions setting it up — happy to help!
You’ll want to look for the Professional Posts enrichment — that’s where you’ll see recent LinkedIn activity. Let me know if you need help adding it.
Hi! Thank you. But I just want to know whether they have posted anything or not (no need number of posts)
Hello Zaid! One way you can do that is by finding their Post Audience and then create a formula column which checks the box if they have posted and unchecked if they have not. Another method you can use is the AI column. You can use Claygent to scrape their Linkedin URL and return yes or no. However the accuracy of that depends on the model and the prompt. Please do note that profiles that are private or having certain settings in place will not be scraped. Let me know if this helps!
