Issue with HubSpot to Clay Contact Data Update for LinkedIn URLs

Hii, I'm currently importing contacts from HubSpot into Clay for enrichment. However, I've encountered an issue: When a contact in HubSpot lacks a LinkedIn URL, and I subsequently add the LinkedIn URL to that contact in HubSpot, re-importing or refreshing the data in Clay doesn't update the contact's information. I've verified that auto-update is enabled at both the table and column levels in Clay. Despite this, the updated LinkedIn URL doesn't reflect in Clay after re-importing.

The issue you're experiencing might be related to how the auto-update feature works in Clay. Auto-update is typically triggered by new rows in your Clay table, not by changes in the source data (HubSpot in this case). To refresh the data and reflect the updated LinkedIn URL: 1. Try manually running the Hubspot import action in your Clay table. 2. Ensure the LinkedIn URL field is mapped correctly in your import settings. 3. Check if the "Ignore Blank Values" option is enabled, as it might prevent overwriting existing data. Ok i've seen that if i delete, the row with the contact, and i update the importation, it doesn't import the contact again

Hey, That’s correct—Clay doesn’t automatically re-import or overwrite existing rows during a HubSpot sync. It only brings in new contacts. If you update a contact in HubSpot (like adding a LinkedIn URL), and want that update to reflect in Clay, you’ll need to use a lookup to pull in the new value. Deleting the row won’t re-import it either, since Clay sees it as already synced. Let me know if you want help setting up that lookup!
