Iโm using Clay to find ecommerce stores + data related to them, it does a great job! If I start with that list of ecommerce brands, the best way to build a list of emails that work at those companies, and enrich those emails would be to:
Use clay to build list of ecommerce brands (linkedin, URL)
Use a tool like Snov.io or another tool to find people that work at the company
then put those people into a new list, and enrich from there, leaving the first doc behind
right?
Hey Michael, that's a great approach to find plenty of emails to work with, you can then validate them and filter them out too, plus you'll know which people to further enrich. Let's see if any other people reaching out to ecommerce could chip in on how they source them
Hey Ryane P.! You can use our Write to table integration to extract a list of results into their own rows in a new table, here's a quick video: https://www.loom.com/share/841cc9c009194f1688bbd134b3e4f388
Thanks! Can I do this but keep everything in one table? As it stands, we have one table per campaign to keep things simple.
Hmm, that's a tougher one. Write to table cannot extract them into the same table as it could cause an infinite loop because it may restart the whole process in a new row all over again as they get created. We often suggest keeping a Company table and a People table separate for a similar reason.
We do have the Lookup Record integration can help with connecting one table to the other and pulling in records/columns. Here's a video and our docs page for Lookup Record!
ok if keeping a company table and people table separate is best practice ill do that
Yeah I had same thoughts Ryane P.! i have the store, but I need to use another table/ tool to find multiple emails of people that work at the company
Question for you all, is there a "best" tool in Clay to enrich work emails for commerce brands? Ive been using Prospeo and it seems to have a 60% enrichment rate (40% dont have/couldnt find)
Great question, Jamyang T.. Hope they can share their experience but unfortunately, I don't think there's a best provider in the market. However, combining multiple could be useful
Here's a video on how to set up a waterfall in Clay to maximize coverage and minimize the amount of credits you spend by combining providers- https://www.clay.com/learn/find-work-emails-from-linkedin
Arturo O. could you expand on how this minimizes the amount of credits? Is it because its 1 linkedin enrichment vs using multiple?
Yes, so, in essence, you could spend a lot more by checking directly with each provider. Some of them charge you even when no data is found but here in Clay, if you use Clay's API for many of the available integrations, the credits are refunded to your account when they don't return anything.
