Hi Team, new to Clay trying to enrich data that has already populated into our SF. I am running what I believe to be the correct waterfalls but have a feeling I am off. Any recommendations?
Here's how to run waterfalls to enrich your Salesforce data:1. Open your table containing the Salesforce data 2. Click "Add Enrichment" in the top-right corner 3. Under "Waterfalls", search for the specific data point you want to enrich (e.g., phone number, email, employee count, etc.)For the waterfall setup:** Configure the sequence of data providers - you can reorder, add, or remove providers to optimize coverage ** Enter the required input fields needed for the enrichment ** Optionally, you can choose to show which provider successfully found the data ** Configure run settings like auto-update or specific conditionsKey benefits:** You'll only be charged credits for the provider that successfully finds the data ** Failed lookups from providers that don't return results won't count against your creditsThe waterfall will automatically run the providers in sequence until it finds a match, maximizing your enrichment coverage while optimizing credit usage. Hey Pat K.! Jess here from our CX team. One adjustment I would make here is to make the “create record” column run conditionally (using the “only run if” section at the bottom of the column setup. You can add a conditional formula here to only run if the Lookup column’s “foundAtLeastOne” field is false. This will prevent you from creating a record if there is already a record present in Salesforce for that row/person. In addition to this you might want to run an additional “update record” column for any existing records that are missing the data you are enriching in Salesforce. Let us know you need any more help on this!
Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
