Troubleshooting HubSpot Integration for Lead Creation Issues

Hi, I'm trying to create leads with the HubSpot integration, but I'm having issues. I believe it's because of the company or contact ID, as I can't find the property to associate them! Any tips on how to fix this?

To resolve issues with creating leads using the HubSpot integration and associating company or contact IDs, follow these steps: 1. For contacts, use the "Create or Update Contact with HubSpot" action. You can identify the contact by email address or existing Contact ID. 2. For companies, use the "Create or Update Company with HubSpot" action. You can identify the company by domain or existing Company ID. 3. If you're unsure if a company exists, use the "Lookup Company with HubSpot" action first. This will help you verify if the company is already in HubSpot before creating or updating it. By using these specific actions and the correct identifiers (email/Contact ID for contacts, domain/Company ID for companies), you should be able to resolve the association issues you're experiencing.

Running into this issue as well, not sure if it was resolved but Romeo mentioned it another thread, the lead object does not have an input for the associated contact or company: https://clayrunhq.slack.com/archives/C025KSBLPGX/p1740580946942259

For now, I'm using a set of HTTP API calls to create a task and associate it to a contact instead
