Manually Importing Leads into Your Table with Company Info

·
·

Is there a way that I can manually import a lead into a table? I have the table searching for contacts - but sometimes I find a contact that works at the company and has a Linkedin profile but is not in the Clay database. How can I use that URL and then add them to my table, then make sure it pulls all the company info from my separate company table?

To manually import a lead using a LinkedIn URL and add them to your table while pulling company info, you can: 1. Use our Clip to Clay Chrome extension to quickly save LinkedIn URLs to a Clay table. 2. Once you've added the LinkedIn URLs to your table, use the "write to table" feature to send the people results to your desired table. 3. To pull company info from your separate company table, set up a lookup column in your people table. This will link the company data to each person. 4. Whenever you add new company data, rerun the lookup column to refresh and pull the latest company information into your people table. This approach saves data credits and creates an integrated dataset combining individual and company information.

Yes, there's a more automated way to import hundreds of leads using LinkedIn URLs and link them with company info. Here's how: 1. Use our Clip to Clay Chrome extension to quickly save LinkedIn URLs to a Clay table. 2. Once you've added the LinkedIn URLs, use the "write to table" feature to send the people results to your desired table. 3. To link with company info, set up a lookup column in your people table. This will connect the company data from your separate company table. 4. For bulk importing, use the "Find people at these companies" action. Specify criteria like job titles and adjust parameters as needed. 5. Preview the results, set a limit if necessary, and import to your table. This method allows for efficient, large-scale importing while maintaining connections between individual and company data.

Hi there, Which extension did you try? The Chrome extension Clip2Clay can help you get all results into your table without issues. For manually importing leads, create a new table in your workbook and set it up with a LinkedIn URL input column where you can paste the profiles you find. Add your enrichment columns, and when you want to include company data, simply use a lookup column to connect to your company table. Let me know if you need more help.

Hey Bo, is there a way to DM you or work through this privately so I can share a video that explains my Q better? Thanks

Hey, actually the best way to contact us about these issues privately would be to open a ticket through the in-app intercom. That way you'll be able to ask all your questions privately.
