Hey there, my apify integration only reads the latest run into Clay. Its causing quite big troubles as I have like 10+ runs automatically per day and it’d be important to read the data from all of them, not just the latest one. Any hacks around this?
💤 You've caught us outside of our support hours (9am-9pm EST), but don't worry - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in the thread below so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
otherwise what would be the best way for this? my apify actor scrapes like 2-3 linkedin posts per day and I’d want all of those to flow into Clay. Any hacks around this or creative solutions?
Use n8n.io to trigger the actor, collect the data and send it to clay.
Thanks Muhammad! Any further ideas for solutions?
Hey Muhammad! Thanks for jumping in. Hey Dominik! The other work around here may be to create a task for that run on Apify and set the import to pull data from that task. Let me know if this helps.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
Hi Dominik M.! This thread was recently closed by our Support team. If you have a moment, please share your feedback:
Daniela D. thats not so claer. Could you elaborate on that please?
even if I set the import for the task, which I’ve done, it still only pulls the latest run
Dominik <> You have to create a workflow in n8n.io which will trigger an apify actor <> scraps the data and send it to clay and keep doing it multiple times for different inputs.
do you have a sample flow for that?
in n8n
how to scrape the apify actor data?
dont have sample workflow
Trigger an actor via http call <> wait for it to finishs crapping <> fetch the dataset <> send to clay <> repeat
I just dont see n8n supporting Apify 😕
you can use make.com then
you can trigger apify via http call in n8n
epic
cheers
Thanks for jumping in Muhammad! Hey Dominik! Sorry for the confusion. I made a quick video explaining how the integration works here: https://share.cleanshot.com/Hvv7q2r3 For context, the initial import is currently limited to only pull from the latest run or a specific run (if selected), but new imports should pull from all subsequent runs that took place after. To confirm, you only saw the table get updated with results from the latest run? Can you share the table with that import? We'll look into this.
