i am trying to scrape US companies, why is it giving me some other countries' companies like Milan, Italy?
You need to set location filters in your Find Companies search. In the configuration, look for "Location to include or exclude" and specifically select "United States" to restrict results to US companies only. [1]
The search is currently pulling global results because no geographic restrictions are applied. Adding the US location filter will prevent companies from Milan, Italy and other countries from appearing in your results. [2]

I did specifically select "United States" to restrict results to US companies only
That's odd—if you've set the US location filter and still getting Italian companies, there might be a data issue or the companies have mixed location data in their profiles. [1]
Try these steps:
• Double-check your location settings are saved properly
• Use "Exclude Locations" to specifically exclude Italy/Europe
• Preview results before importing to catch this early [2]
If it persists, the companies may have US operations listed alongside their Italian headquarters, causing them to match your US filter.

I checked their website and they don't even have offices in US
This sounds like a data quality issue with our company database. Since you've confirmed these companies have no US presence, try adding them to an exclusion list to prevent them from appearing in future searches. [1]
You can also use the "Exclude companies" feature in Find Companies to select a Clay table with companies to exclude from your search. [2] This will help clean up your results going forward.
For better accuracy with US-only companies, you might also try using more specific location filters or additional criteria to narrow down the results.

I see the issue—Gi Group shows "Milan, MI" in the Location column but "United States" in the Country column, with an Italian address. This is a data mapping error where "Milan, MI" (Michigan) got confused with Milan, Italy.
This type of data quality issue occasionally happens with international companies that have mixed location data in their profiles.

Missing domains usually means the Find Companies search didn't capture domain data for those rows.
Try these fixes:
• Use "Find Domain from Company Name with Google" integration to fill missing domains [1]
• Check if the company website column has blank entries and add valid URLs
• For companies without domains, use company name as your identifier instead [2]
The conditional formula is working correctly—it's just showing which rows lack domain data.
