Hi there - I am trying to use Claygent, but it comes with the error that I've 'exceeded my monthly API quota'. I'm unsure what this means as I have 1990 credits remaining in my Clay account, plus I am using an Open AI API key for my account where I have a GPT Plus subscription. Not sure what I'm missing
it seems to have worked now!
Hey Jessica, thanks for reaching out! It appears the table was deleted, correct? Let me know if you run into any other issues with Claygent!
yep no worries, it worked in the end - think i had the wrong api key lol
Hi Mohan, my guess is that you've exceeded your monthly API limit on OpenAI (even if you have a chatGPT plus subscription, your account only comes with a certain number of API calls). can you log into OpenAI and check your number? URL would be: https://platform.openai.com/usagescreen should look something like thisif it's not that, we'll keep checking!
yep but look - i haven't reached my limit:
so why is it saying i have...
hmmmm odd. can you send a link to the table you’re seeing this in?
and I’ll send a DM too
okay I hopped on with Jessica/Mohan live, and we added a new API key from this account, which should have access to GPT-3.5 at least, but it's not working. cc: Adam E. and Maggie W., if someone can help him debug this asap when we're back, he's working on an important client project he needs to wrap up! also, for debugging user issues with API keys, we should default add the last 5 digits of the API key to the name of the connection
Yash T. Mohan did you check the balance in the account too? https://platform.openai.com/account/billing/overview
for example I have this limit and this credit balance!
So if you use ChatGPT plus, I'd recommend keeping and paying for it, and getting a separate plan for API usage for Clay. Tbh if you don't use the chat product much, I'd just cancel that subscription and pay through the API!
But there's three things then right. I have a chatgptplus subscription (1). But then I paid for the API usage separately which showed me that I was well below my limits (2). And now I've had to increase my credit limit on the monthly pay-as-you-go (3). I don't understand the difference between 2 and 3....
@mo, #2 and #3 are the same thing, API usage and chatGPT plus are two separate products. However, in API usage, you don't pay for your monthly limit, you just set that. You pay for credits, and then you have the ability to turn on auto-refill for when credits are used up, so you can have credits left towards your limit but still have no credits if that makes sense
If you want to DM me your billing history screenshots I can explain how it breaksdown
No worries dude it's not at all intuitive, I even still checked the wrong one when we hopped on that call haha. Happy NYE!!
