Extracting LinkedIn Associated Members Count into Clay Table

Β·
Β·

I am wondering if it's possible to get the number of "associated members" from LinkedIn into my Clay table without wasting Clay credits. I've added a formula that appends the people page to the original LinkedIn company page. The link is now: https://www.linkedin.com/company/google/people/. On that page, I would like to extract the exact number of associated members listed.

Nick BetterEnrich has an API for enriching companies from LinkedIn company urls, it enriches the exact number of associated members. If you'd like to check the accuracy, you can send me a DM. Thanks

Hey, thanks for reaching out! 😊 Just to confirm, are you trying to extract the β€œpeople” part of the URL? If so, you can use a formula like this: Extract the last /people/ part of the URL and return only the number in this column: /column. However, I’m not sure of the exact details of this methods and if it would work, so let me know if this is what you need or if you have more specifics! πŸ‘

I added the /people part with a formula myself. But now I want to visit that page in the table "https://www.linkedin.com/company/google/people/" with hopefully the end result in the number of associated members

Or on the /about page of the linkedin page, and there I need the same info: number of associated members

Thanks for your help all! This is not really working with Claygent + OpenAI, tried it a couple of times but i am not getting the results I was expecting. If I enrich the company with the 'enrich company' feature I get the results i need. But that costs a credit per result. When having thousands of rows, that's expensive.

in this example you see the employee count of 74, which almost matches with the number on LinkedIn

Hey Nick! Thanks for reaching out. Can you share your table url? Happy to take a look at the prompt and configuration. Were you getting inaccurate results with Claygent?

You will see the Claygent result(s) are different than the one from when you enrich the company with the enrichment tool from Clay. But yea, that's expensive with the credits..

Hey there Nick thanks for reaching out, data points such as associated members is provided to Clay by 3rd Party providers who have their own processes, Clay itself does not scrape this data. This why using any of our tools to retrieve this data would generate a credit cost, since we have to rely on those service providers. The only option to retrieve this data without incurring credits cost, would be through Apify or Phantombuster.
