Connecting Clay API for Lead Enrichment and Creator Program Inquiry

Hey Guys I have a few questions: 1 - I´m doing some tests using Clay as a source to enrich leads and company information. We have a specific request and "kind of" response that we would like to connect Clay through our software using API! Is it possible? 2 - The Creator Program, would be a option to custom our request information through API?

Hey, thanks for reaching out! 😊 We don't have a traditional API, but what are you looking to create? An enrichment flow for your data? Here's how people usually do it: 1. Send data to Clay via webhooks. 2. Use our tools. 3. Send data back to your product/database via HTTP API. Here's a quick video on how it works, a video for troubleshooting body parse, and an extra troubleshooting guide for empty values. Regarding the creator program, it's a program for receiving referral fees for bringing new clients to Clay :) Let me know if you have specific tasks or goals in mind so I can assist you better! 🌟

Hi Bo (. So, in our case, we want to use Clay to connect through our software to our users/customers to see what they want to enrich. We work with International Trade data for Supply Chains, and we want to include Clay as an option for our customers to enrich their data, using all in one place (our software www.tradesee.io) For example: They will find company information about current imports and exports, the next step, they want to enrich leads from this Import/Export company that we have provided, that case, would be Clay data, through our software.

Regarding the creator program, we could include to our customer, a membership/subscription to have Clay as a solution into our software.

Yes, that makes total sense! The method I suggested is indeed the best approach. For example, you could have a form on your website that connects to our webhooks. It could require fields like company name, domain, etc., which are then sent to Clay. From there, it would proceed through the enrichments, find leads, and then send the response back to an API endpoint for your team. As for offering a Clay subscription to your customers, that’s an amazing idea—well thought out!
