Hey team, raised this before but it's a new month now and it's still not working so something must be wrong. Here's the table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/449716/workbooks/wb_0svhr5rciU5UhYbN9Xv/tables/t_0svhrd2PXywV3cgRzt9/views/gv_0svhrd4hPGy49Gks8cJ I've built a find people list sourced via Clay and it hasn't updated/added new leads for a whole month. Table was built at end of April. There should be about 100~200 new leads daily. Something's not working. Can you take a look?
Find People lists don't automatically update with new leads over time - they're one-time imports based on your search criteria at that moment. When you create a Find People list, it imports the leads matching your criteria at that time, but doesn't continuously add new people who might match those criteria later. To get fresh leads, you'll need to run a new Find People search with the same criteria and save the results to a new table.
I used "max month at current role: 2 month" as filter to source the list and been trying to update the source weekly and just tried to again today. It hasn't added a single lead so it's def off lol impossible that 0 contact have joined a new company in May.
Tried to run a new search in a new table here, and used LookUp to check data freshness (against the first table above, created in April), and 100% of the records are old from 2 months ago. This means Clay's "max in month" filter hasn't updated a single lead in May. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/449716/workbooks/wb_0sx8hlwYQE7pQcYd78Y/tables/t_0sx8hykeCxAtonEPuT8/views/gv_0sx8hyl5j4YHYjgh4HC
Hey, totally get the confusion here. It did returned new leads on May 20 but The “Max Months in Role” filter uses LinkedIn job dates, which are only tracked by month — not day. So even if you’re checking daily or weekly, it won’t surface fresh leads until LinkedIn updates show someone started a new role in a new month. If you need fresher signals, the best path is using a Find Companies search instead. From there, you can monitor for new hires, which tends to update more frequently and gives you a closer-to-real-time view. Let me know if you want help setting that up.

Thanks Bo! I know you mentioned that part before but number still seem wayyyy off. Pulled the initial list in April and it sourced 12K leads trailing back 3 months. For the month of May it only updated 400 ish, only 10% of the volume if we average out the monthly leads I pulled in April :( I’ll try your method and see if it does better. But damn that’s gonna be costly lol
Hey, Totally get that—it can add up quickly. Let me know how it goes with the new method and if the results improve. Happy to take another look if things still feel off. Let me know if you have more questions.
