I am triyng to find people from a certain companies. Once I got the results, it's saying that I cannot import the results to the same company table being used as an input. How can I resolve this? I just want everything in one table.
You can't send data back to the same table you're pulling from - Clay only allows linear data flow (A → B → C). [1]
Two solutions:
1.
Create a new table for your people results instead of adding to the existing company table
2.
Use Find Contacts enrichment in your company table - this adds people directly as enriched data within the same table, letting you set limits per company
The second option keeps everything in one table like you want.
If you still need help with importing or organizing your data in Clay, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to achieve so we can find the best solution?
You can manually edit the cell to replace Ronan Smith with Joseph McIntyre. Click directly on the "Ronan Smith" cell in your table, then type or paste "Joseph McIntyre" to replace it. [1]
Alternatively, use Write to Other Table to create a new table with only Joseph McIntyre's data - select the column containing your people list, then map Joseph McIntyre's specific details to the new table. [2]
Green triangles are warning indicators that appear when values are copy-pasted into cells rather than being generated by the system.
To resolve this, download your table as a CSV and re-upload it instead of copy-pasting data. The green triangles aren't critical but serve as a warning to address potential data inconsistencies.
No, green triangles won't affect enrichment functionality. They're just warning indicators for copy-pasted data rather than system-generated values. Your enrichments will work normally regardless of the green triangles.
