Request for One-Time Courtesy Refund of Clay Credits

·
·

Hey team, I’m currently facilitating a cohort training, and one of our trainees accidentally ran an existing Clay table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/298276/workbooks/wb_BedQjtGsbRbu/tables/t_roWGrmtnuZE5/views/gv_dirdBqPTaYn9 Unfortunately, this used up a significant amount of Clay credits. Would it be possible to process a one-time courtesy refund? I don’t typically request this, but we need the credits to continue the training and other enrichment activities. Really appreciate your help—thank you! 🙏

According to our terms of service, all fees and credits are non-refundable except in specific cases where providers return invalid data. Unfortunately, we cannot process a refund for credits that were used during table operations, even if they were used accidentally. If you need additional credits to continue your training, you have a few options: 1. Purchase additional credits through Workspace Settings > Plans and Billing > Purchase Credits 2. Upgrade your plan if you anticipate ongoing increased usage Sources: Clay: Terms of Service Clay credits overview | Documentation | Clay University

While there isn't a dedicated "training mode," we offer several ways to learn Clay while minimizing credit usage: 1. During the free trial, you get 1000 credits to test Clay out. We recommend running small batches of 20-30 rows at a time as you learn. 2. Many actions in Clay are completely free and perfect for learning, including: • Building lists from Google Maps • Building lists from GitHub • Building lists from CRMs • Building lists from websites • Using HTTP/API integrations • Using the Normalize Domain feature 3. You can use AI formulas, which are credit-free, to practice formatting, cleaning, and reshaping your data. This is a key way to maximize value while minimizing costs. To get started, we recommend checking out our learning resources: ** Clay University ** Quick demo video * Documentation Sources: FAQ | Clay.com Clay credits overview | Documentation | Clay University AI Formulas + Conditional Runs [Clay 101] - Clay University Actions That Use Credits vs. Actions That Don't

Can you clarify how many credits you estimate this setup set you back? Would be happy to take a look to see if we can refund this for you.

Is there anyway you can also check which user account ran the enrichment in the Clay table I sent you?

I went ahead and added those credits back to your workspace - there's no way for me to check this at the moment but we will be rolling out role access based controls and you should have full transparency on these issues soon!

HI Bruno - do you think there's any chance you could take a look at my account too? I had a similar problem where I ran a refinement process on a load of companies unintentially and blitz through my credits
