Is there a mechanism to get a one-time extension on credit expiration? I am planning a big data enrichment project but can't start it until the week after our current overage credits expire.
Based on our credit system, there isn't a specific mechanism for extending credit expiration dates. However, you have options to manage your credits for your project: Credit Rollover: If you're on a monthly plan, unused credits automatically roll over and accumulate up to 2x your plan's monthly credit limit. For example, if your plan includes 50,000 credits per month, your maximum balance would be 100,000. Purchase Credit Top-ups: You can buy additional credits directly from your billing modal - new credits are added instantly without changing your plan or billing cycle. Trial Extension: We do offer a one-time self-serve trial extension that gives you another 2 weeks, though this appears to be specifically for trial accounts. For your specific situation with overage credits expiring, purchasing credit top-ups would be the most direct solution to ensure you have credits available when you're ready to start your enrichment project.
Hello Chris! Thanks for reaching out! To ensure we are in alignment, you have certain credits that are going to expire due to the rollover policy and you want to avoid it this time? I can see you currently have around 25k credits that are set to expire on August 7? I have gone ahead and relieved the rollover policy for one month. This means you can continue using your credits without worrying about the expiry till August 25th.

Clay doesn’t offer this by default, but they’re usually flexible. Just message support@clay.com or ask in the Slack support channel they’ve granted one-time extensions before if you explain the timing.
