How do columns run in a layout? Left to right or all at once?

question, does the columns run one by one from left to right or does one row run in one go?

Soo the columns in Clay run one by one from left to right, if they dependent on one another. But you can also choose to run one cell in a row at a time which will than repeat the same process of left to right.
