Hi there! Quick Question: How can I automatically reject enriched email addresses that are the following:
Duplicates (same email for more than 1 row of the company)
General / Shared Inboxes (Info@, Sales@, Contact@, Marketing@, Partnerships@, Hello@, etc)
When finding email addresses for 3 members of an organization, I attempted to use the "Waterfall enrichment" for email discovery. The issue was that I was clearly getting unusable email addresses (the same for all 3 contacts) OR a general one. I tried to use the Condition Formula + ai but it didn't work. Any ideas?
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) 🫶 Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table 😉
Hi Taylor, thanks for getting in touch! To remove duplicates you can click on the column header with the duplicate values and in the dropdown menu you'll find the "dedupe" button. Here's a quick video about deduping in Clay: https://www.loom.com/share/4d10c62c49f14df593f32012bd2c3017
for the catch all emails you need to specify in the waterfall settings that you don't want them, is at the bottom in the debounce section
I tried writing the formula.... What should I put in?
The duplicates video isn't quite relevant. I want the waterfall to continue to using the other APIs to find the right email.
Is there a way of requiring each verification api to follow the same rules BEFORE getting to the point of rejecting emails altogether?
Clay Team Juan P. I need help on very specific problem. Is there a way to remove general emails and duplicates from each step of the work email enrichment waterfall? I used Ai Condition Run Formula Generator to try and exclude general emails from the results. "Exclude general email addresses in {{list of emails}} field that contain or start with: Hello@ Info@ Mail@ Marketing@ Sales@ Support@ Community@ Help@ This would be a HUGE reduction in manual work. AND the reason for migrating our Outbound to Clay. Can someone help me?
You can run a separate debounce verification in the first step
