Clay uses the company name when looking for people at companies. However, in some cases, it may also use the company domain to improve accuracy, especially when dealing with common company name.. If the company has a unique name, just entering the company name should work. If the company name is generic (e.g., "ABC Consulting"), using the company domain (e.g., abcconsulting.com) can improve accuracy.

When looking for "find people at these companies," Clay can use either the company domain or LinkedIn URL. Both work well.
If you only have the company name in your table, you'll need to enrich it first to find the domain. You can do this using our free Google integration or by using Claygent.
Just a tip - LinkedIn tends to be much better at matching companies than using domains.
