Hey Clay S. , We're are consolidating our client workspaces. Is there are way to export already created tables/workbooks to another workspace as it is?
Currently, we don't have a direct export feature to move tables or workbooks between workspaces. However, you can use our sharing feature as a workaround. Here's how: 1. For workbooks: Click the workbook title, then "Turn on sharing". 2. For tables: Click "Actions", select "Share as template", then "Turn on sharing". 3. Copy the public link provided. 4. In the destination workspace, use this link to create a copy. This method allows you to recreate the table or workbook in the new workspace. Keep in mind that this creates a new copy and doesn't transfer the original data directly. If you need more assistance with this process, please request to talk to a person in this chat.
Any chance I can export the data too from one clay table to another?
Yes, you can export data from one Clay table and import it into another workspace. Here's how: 1. Export the data: • Open the table you want to export • Click Actions > Export > Download CSV 2. The CSV file will be available in your downloads folder once processed 3. In the destination workspace: • Create a new table or open an existing one • Import the CSV file you just downloaded This method allows you to transfer data between workspaces effectively. Keep in mind that the CSV export mirrors your Clay table exactly, so you might want to create a dedicated "CSV Export View" to include only the essential data you need. If you need further assistance with this process, please request to talk to a person in this chat.
