helo Channeled, I am trying to scrape data from https://www.thebluebook.com/search.html?region=1&searchsrc=thebluebook&class=0710&searchTerm=Concrete+Contractors&page=2. Particulary, phone numbers which they have and websites if available, how can I do this? tried to use the chrome extension but it didn't work
You can use Clay's Scrape Website action to extract phone numbers and websites from URLs. Here's how:1. Instead of using the Chrome extension, use the Scrape Website action in Clay, which can retrieve: ā¢ Phone numbers ā¢ Links/websites ā¢ Emails ā¢ Body text ā¢ Keywords 2. If you need a custom approach, you can create a specific recipe: ā¢ Choose "Select Data" option ā¢ Create a new recipe with a name ā¢ Set the URL pattern for your target website ā¢ Select the specific data points you want to extract (phone numbers and websites in this case) ā¢ Preview the data in tabular format before savingThis method will help you extract the information you need even when the Chrome extension isn't working optimally.
