hi team here's a quick loom where the lookup function isn't refreshing the rows so I had to manually run it https://www.loom.com/share/44caf4bd9b5543f5bd598a179341e912?sid=9144e6ee-8cd4-4275-8000-da9b1a564a55
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hi Shwetha, thanks for reaching out. Taking a look at this now.
thanks Bruno - Running a bunch of stuff on both these tables so should we wait until the runs are done?
I see what you mean here! The lookup column isn't designed to update automatically as changes are made to the referenced table. To refresh the lookup, you'll need to manually re-run it for the records to reflect the latest data: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1218071587/bc674da95473d3a40237ce89a0e2/CleanShot+2024-10-16+at+09_51_06%402x.png?expires=1729088100&signature=a57e4d1f8eb8034eeb8402e12e1d0856a5876dce5015b2abf7ff6d82fdece812&req=dSImHsl5nIRXXvMW1HO4zZIICLLZmGqYrjbMPhucxKQj7PCWUZ7QHaaHYpyP%0ASevp%0A I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
right - so this wont work when we are dynamically pushing accounts into the company master table right? What would be the best way to achieve this? Coz the company table will not be a one time push
Our use case is this: We add accounts to a list in Hubspot and using a Zap we trigger a push the company into this Clay company table which it will then enrich for us
Will this use case not work then?with Clay?
I was advised to use the lookup to solve this problem earlier
I believe the best solution for this use case is indeed a lookup enrichment column. However, I recommend performing the lookup directly to your HubSpot instance using the Hubspot lookup company enrichment column: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1218088103/c303efb8929722c6588113c3738d/CleanShot+2024-10-16+at+10_02_24%402x.png?expires=1729089000&signature=18904ee62f6a7d8467961336af1035dcbf3b3d0022fcf03c310b84d9dc553e55&req=dSImHsl2lYBfWvMW1HO4zZR7SUKJJnDG6A5DP4ezcuMf1y8X4lqwP6MBvInJ%0AsuNI%0A This will to query your CRM records directly as new company leads are added, preventing you from having to build the Zap automation here.
That wont work coz I'm using an Anthropic text to generate a news summary which I need to reference into the people table
this is what I'm trying to do
Got it. To summarize: 1) You have a webhook company table that receives new companies from hubspot endpoint and enriches them with additional data points. 2) You have a people search table which updates as new companies are added to the webhook table. Now, you want the lookup column to retrieve all the information you processed with Anthropic in your webhook table. I believe the issue lies in the time lag between the people search being triggered as new domains or LinkedIn URLs populate your webhook table, and the news retrieval workflow kicking off. The lookup column is attempting to fetch the Anthropic results prematurely. The best solution would be to introduce an intermediary table where records are written only after the Anthropic news enrichment has been completed. I explain this concept here: https://www.loom.com/share/83fae9da6b7d467396e8e85f1b27ac22?sid=a81d64d6-4eaa-44fd-b1a9-17ce7f47dc9d I hope this was helpful. We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
