Issues with Salesforce Duplicate Rule Not Functioning Correctly

Hi! New here and have a question about the objection creation in salesforce enrichment. I do not believe the Duplicate Rule is working correctly. I have the override switched to OFF. But in testing the integration is still creating new objects that already exist. Any suggestions?

By default, Clay should not create duplicate records when the Duplicate Rule Override is switched off.To resolve this issue, please check these key points:1. Verify that your field mappings and data types match exactly between your Clay table and Salesforce fields. Mismatched data types can cause export errors and unexpected behavior. 2. It's recommended to: โ€ข Turn off auto-update initially โ€ข Manually test the workflow with a few rows first โ€ข Use the Lookup Records action early in your workflow to check for existing recordsIf the issue persists after checking these items, you may want to request human support to investigate your specific configuration. Brian S. It may be talking about overriding existing field data, but not necessarily objects. I'm working with the Clay team on the newest CRM enrichment features (meeting w/ product next week). they're shipping a lot of updates to improve CRM enrichment workflows. I can keep you posted on what I find out.

Amazing! Trying to use clay as first stop on our GTM process - to ensure all data gets enriched prior to entering our CRM system! Keep me posted that sounds great
