Since Clay automatically links company and people tables, give me step by step instructions on how to extract company attributes directly into my people table without paying additional credits
Since Clay automatically links your Find Companies table to your Find People table, you can extract company attributes without additional credits:
Step 1: Enrich your company data once at the company level (tech stack, revenue, location, etc.)
Step 2: In your people table, add a lookup column that references your company table
Step 3: Map the company attributes you want to pull into your people table
Step 4: When you add new company data later, simply rerun the lookup column in your people table to sync updated information
This approach saves credits by enriching once at the company level instead of paying for each person individually.

If you need any more help with extracting company attributes into your people table, please let me know. Would you like to provide more details about what you're trying to achieve or any challenges you're facing?
Exactly right! The lookup column linking to your company table doesn't run automatically by default. Once you manually run that second column, it pulls all the enriched company data into your people table without any credit cost.
You can rerun this lookup column anytime you add new company data to refresh the information in your people table.

Thanks Vinit I tried to use the actions -> lookup multiple rows, but this won't allow me to sync back to the company table -- asking for Clay Account and for some reason only has the API I set up for another software. So...is there another way I can add from the company table in my workspace into the people table?
Use Write to Other Table instead. You'll need your Clay API key to set it up.
Steps:
1. Add enrichment column in your people table
2. Search for "Write to Other Table"
3. Select your Clay account (get your API key if needed)
4. Choose your company table as source
5. Enter "/" to skip list selection
6. Map the company columns you want to your people table
This transfers company data directly without additional credits.
