Hello. I need some help with Monitor for job changes function. It doesn't catch test signal. Can you help me with that, please?
This might be happening because of how the job change tracking works differently for historical vs. future changes: For testing purposes, you need to understand two key scenarios: 1. To check historical changes: Include both the "Person LinkedIn URL" AND "Company LinkedIn URL" columns. The system will generate a job change event if the person's current company differs from the provided company URL. 2. To track future changes: Only include the "Person LinkedIn URL" column (without the Company LinkedIn URL). This will monitor any new job changes from the moment you create the signal. If you're not seeing your test signal, make sure you're using the correct setup based on whether you're testing historical or future changes. I've created signal, then I added my Linkedin profile in ther source table and changed my job in my profile. But there is no signal in the table
Hi Oleh, thanks for reaching out. Taking a look at this now! You can learn about what workflows you can build with this signal here. Some context on how to set this feature up: * If you only provide a Person LinkedIn Url column, we will track that list of people for any future job changes from the moment you create the Signal * IF you provide a Company LinkedIn Url (optional) column, we will do an initial historical check against the companies you provided. So e.g. if you say that Person X was at Company A, we will do a historical check to see if they're still in Company A, and if not, we will produce a Job Change event, regardless of when they started their current job. The use case for this is if customers want to check if their current data (e.g. from their CRM) is still up to date. There are likely no job change signals that have been picked up by your table yet, if you set up the table with the first setup mode I described above!
OK, thank you for explanation. But why it didn't react for new job change in my personal account? Is there any timeframe for reaction?
And with initial historical check setup mode will it be active for the future changes?
To run a historical check you can provide the company linkedin url at setup - for other updates there will likely be some time associated with processing the job change event where the trigger will not be immediate.
Hi Oleh, this is just a test and it's expected to generate an error because it's not referencing the people table you set up your people search on. It's referencing a sample table which we have put in place to show you how the signal would work when an actual job change event is picked up by the feature.
OK, and I ned to set up a notification from Clay to HUbspot if there is job change. Is there any way to set it up if there is no changes at the moment?
I assume to run more realistic test I need to change job in on of the profiles listed on the source table, right?
Do you mind sending the link to the hubspot records table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1733863500&signature=ce473c063917a91ef3d86f7db11d4772631ca06f930d7d1d4a0b6e5424b7c41e&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSj0AJQT2BKsam%2FhVPs5Dg%3D%3D%0A
