Hey Clay Team, I am working for a commerical real estate brokerage and trying to target specific companies to see if they are looking to expand their business in New York. I went ahead and started finding companies for example in the grocery industry in new york with a headcount of at least 500 employees. It populated approx 666 companies. I went ahead to find people at these companies that are in the C Suite, Partner, Owner, high level positions and I only got 9 results. I would like some help on to further navigate this task.
To find more C-Suite and executive contacts at grocery companies in New York, you need to refine your search criteria in the Find People feature: 1. Click on the Actions button in the top-right corner of your screen 2. Select "Find People at These Companies" from the dropdown menu When configuring your search: ** Expand your job title filters to include more executive variations (CEO, COO, CTO, CFO, CIO, CMO, President, VP, Director, Head of) ** Try different seniority levels (not just C-suite but also VP, Director, Head) ** Use the "Job title" filter to target specific departments (Operations, Finance, Real Estate, Expansion) ** Consider broadening your location filter slightly beyond New York City You can also try multiple searches with different criteria and save each result to a new table, then combine them later for a more comprehensive list.
The results are still low when adjusting the filters
Please let me know if you can help
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! Totally hear where you're coming from with not being able to get the minimum number amount of contacts you're looking for. When it comes to finding people at grocery stores, I check this out and without applying any filters, we see there are 282 results. Meaning this is the total population that we are working with after applying filters. Additionally, grocery store owners may be owned by holding companies or larger entities, OR may not have a large/active presence on LinkedIn. The headcount that this company lists on their LinkedIn page for example may not actively represent the number of backend employees you're looking for. They may include all of their cashiers and employees who stock shelves in this headcount. Few things we can do: 1. We can try to use Claygent to perform research and identify the owner of the grocery store (test on a few companies for effectiveness before running on all rows) 2. We can widen the criteria you're looking for within the search itself Let me know if you have any questions here and how I can best assist!
