Finding LinkedIn Posts by Hashtag: Custom Signal or Better Methods?

I am curious to know if there is a way to find posts on Linkedin that have a specific hashtag and bring those into a clay table. Can I create a custom signal for this or is there a better way?

Yes, you can find posts with specific hashtags using our "Find Social Posts" feature. This native source lets you search by keywords, company filters, and timeframe to automatically fetch related posts and their URLs.
You can also use the "Social Posts" feature as an import source or enrichment column to find posts by specific individuals.
For custom signals, you can set up automated monitoring by creating a custom signal that tracks social media platforms for specific changes on a regular schedule.

Not really, I specifically want to find posts based on hashtags not what company is mentioned

Hi Adam, it's definitely something you can do, and signal is the best way to go about it 😌 When creating a new table, choose "Custom" under "Signals", and then choose the first option "Monitor professional posts".
In this interface, each input is optional. So if you only want to get posts having specific hashtags, use "Keywords" and leave the rest blank. I tried using #sales, and it indeed returned LinkedIn posts with the hashtag "sales".

Unfortunately, LinkedIn brand mentions signals have fixed timeframe limitations that cannot be expanded to 2 years 😅
FYI, on the first run, you can collects posts from the previous week only; and from the last 24 hours for subsequent runs.
Why? The schedule cannot be modified due to LinkedIn API rate limitations. However, there might be alternatives if applicable to your use case. For other platforms like Reddit, custom signals allow you to set the time filter to "all time" which gives you access to historical data.
