No, you won't be charged Clay credits when using your own OpenAI API key for enrichments. If you have existing subscriptions to any data enrichment tools (including OpenAI), you can use them in Clay completely free of cost by connecting your own API keys. To add your OpenAI API key, simply click on workspace settings and find the OpenAI integration you'd like to update. This applies to all data enrichment tools - we only charge credits when using our integrated data providers, not when you bring your own subscriptions.

Hi Maxim, thank you for reaching out. If you use your own API key, then you will not be charged Clay credits, it will instead charge your OpenAI account.

To use your own credits when running the prompt, ensure you have selected an OpenAI model under "Model," as your OpenAI API key only works with OpenAI models. Then, in the "Account" dropdown menu, choose your personal API key instead of the Clay one.
