Single Row Lookup Action is not populating any tables within Clay to pull from, why is that?
The "No options found" issue usually happens when you don't have other tables in your workspace yet, or the tables aren't accessible from your current account. [1]
Try clicking the "Refresh fields" button first - sometimes it just needs to reload the available tables.
Before we dig deeper, have you tried using Sculptor? It's our built-in AI tool in the top-right corner that can help set up table lookups and automations. Give it a shot and let me know if that helps resolve the issue.
There are other tables in this specific workbook and in other workbooks. I have also already clicked Refresh fields
Got it - since you have tables available and refreshing didn't help, this might be a workspace permissions issue or a temporary glitch.
The lookup action searches tables within your workspace, so if they're not showing up despite existing, there could be an access restriction. [1]
Try using Sculptor first - it's our built-in AI tool in the top-right corner that can help set up table lookups and might resolve this automatically. Give that a shot and let me know if it helps or if you're still seeing the same "No options found" message.
If Sculptor doesn't solve it, then we'll need to dig deeper into what might be blocking the table access.

I'm trying to create a single row look up column but can't save it because the "Table to Search" input yields no options. I am trying to reference a table in a different workbook
Hello Paul! Thanks for reaching out! We have made some changes to the lookup action. Now if you click and search for lookup single rows or multiple rows, a different sort of UI should pop up. Refer the screenshot below. Let me know if you're still not able to see the tables.
