Click on the cell and you will know it 100% of time. Most common reason is the lead is in Blocklist in Instantly.
You're absolutely right! Clicking on the cell opens the Cell Details panel where you can see the specific error message. For Instantly integration failures, leads already existing in Instantly (including those in the blocklist) will show as "failures" even though the system is actually trying to update them rather than add new leads.The Cell Details will show you exactly why each lead failed to process.
