Challenges with Apollo Find People At Company Enrichment Process

Finding the Apollo "Find People At Company" enrichment troublesome, whereby it only seems to allow me to extract inputs from "people" results.... as opposed to "contact" results. I would like to extract all people - whether in a people result OR a contact result and put them in another table for full Apollo enrichment... struggling. Can do a video if this gets moved to email support.

this is the workbook i am trying to get to write all people/contacts found from - into the 2nd table in the same workbook: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/273614/workbooks/wb_XSzxGXS7CaCg/tables/t_YtzdKtfkDCck/views/gv_ATo38MrUAWNW gets real confusing between people + contacts, in this case we are agnostic to whether a person or a contact, it doesn't matter from our pov

To extract all people from both "people" and "contact" results and put them in another table for full Apollo enrichment, follow these steps: 1. Use Apollo's "Find People at Company By Job Title" to search for people at the desired companies. 2. Use our "write to other table" feature to extract all results into a new table. Map all the values you need. 3. In the new table, use the "Enrich Person From Apollo" function. Map all necessary columns (except email) and run the enrichment. 4. This process will include both "people" and "contact" results, and the saved contact's email address will be included after enrichment. Remember, you can set a limit for results per company if needed.

To extract all people and contacts from the Apollo "Find People At Company" enrichment into a second table in the same workbook, follow these steps: 1. Use Apollo's "Find People at Company By Job Title" to search for people at the desired companies. 2. Use our "write to other table" feature to extract all results into a new table within the same workbook. Map all the values you need. 3. In the new table, use the "Enrich Person From Apollo" function. Map all necessary columns (except email) and run the enrichment. This process will include both "people" and "contact" results, and the saved contact's email address will be included after enrichment. The new table will contain all the extracted data, regardless of whether they were originally categorized as people or contacts.

Bo (. thanks for this - I see it can work where multiple "people" are found - all good. however, how do I write all "people" results AND all "contact" results to the other table. i cannot map it when i don't see the "contact" option in the field mappings you see.

Apollo differentiates people (new people) vs contacts (existing saved people) ...so it becomes an issue. i'll do a vid.

Hey Daniel, ah gotcha. Yeah in this case the workaround is to trigger the "Write to other table" from the cell itself. As in, click on the cell, hover over "contacts" and select "take action on list" then select write to other table where you should be able to access the data as shown in the video below. Can also setup formulas to return the number of "contacts" and the number of "people" found in each row to help set conditional formulas on these. As in we will need two separate write to other table features, one to account for contacts, the other people. Check out the video below and let me know if that makes sense or how I can help here. :)

one downside here is that you can ONLY get the contact data... I can't also then write other data in this table, to the other table. i'll work it out though, just a bit of a faff = feedback for your devs
