Helloo, is there anyway to lookup contacts on hubspot by any other property than just the name, phone or email? It will be perfect to lookup them by their linkedin url, so I don't have to enrich them first.
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hi Daniel, thanks for reaching out! To look up companies, you'll need to use either the company domain or company ID. For contacts, you'll need the name, phone number, email, or HubSpot contact ID. These requirements are dictated by the constraints of the endpoint we integrate with for this action: https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/contacts/search_contacts I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
Hi Bruno, but is there any way to look up by the linkedin url for example? I think is the only property that's always going to be the same for each lead, and the cheapest to scrape too.
Hello D! Currently, Clay doesn’t offer direct lookup by LinkedIn URL alone. However, you can achieve a similar setup by creating a main table in Clay, where you store all your lead data (including the LinkedIn URL). You can then use Clay’s Lookup function to cross-reference this main table. This approach allows you to search by multiple fields like “Name” and “Company” to make your search more reliable without relying on a single field. Here’s a Loom video that guides you on setting up this workflow: Watch here. This approach also works within HubSpot’s endpoint limits, which can’t be bypassed, so keeping data within Clay will help you manage your lookups. Let me know if you need more details on setting this up—I’m here to help!
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
