To pull just the state from a location in Clay into HubSpot, you can use our "Create object with HubSpot" action. Here's how: 1. Set up the action in your Clay table. 2. Select your HubSpot account and choose the object type (likely "Company"). 3. In the field mapping step, map the "Company Location - State" field from Clay to the corresponding state field in HubSpot. 4. Leave other location fields unmapped if you only want to send the state. 5. Configure run settings as needed. This will create or update HubSpot records with just the state information from your Clay data.

Does the state need to be in the current table to pull that information?

No, the state doesn't need to be in your current Clay table to pull that information into HubSpot. When using our "Create object with HubSpot" action, you can map any field from your Clay table to the corresponding HubSpot field. If the state isn't in your current table, you have a few options: 1. Add the state to your Clay table using our "write to table" feature. 2. Use another Clay action to fetch the state before the HubSpot action. 3. If the state is available in another column, you can map that to HubSpot's state field. Remember, you only need to map the fields you want to send to HubSpot. If you don't map a field, it won't be included in the data sent to HubSpot.

To pull just the state into a table in Clay, you have a few options: 1. Import from CSV: • Click 'Actions' > 'Import' > 'Import from CSV' • Upload your CSV file with state data • Map the state column to your Clay table • Click 'Add to table' 2. Add a new column: • Click 'Add Column' > 'Add Column using AI' • Describe the state information you want • Set up parameters and save 3. Manually add: • Click '+ New Row' at the bottom of your table • Enter state data in the appropriate column If the state data is in another Clay table, you can use our "write to table" feature to transfer it to your desired table.
