You can send formatted messages to Slack channels from Clay using the "Send Message to Channel" action. This feature supports markdown formatting in the Summary field, allowing you to create structured messages.
To set this up:
1. Connect your Slack account in Settings > Connections or via any integration panel
2. Add the "Send Message to Channel with Slack" action to your workflow
3. Configure the following inputs:
ā¢ Bot Name (optional): Name that will appear as the sender
ā¢ Emoji (optional): Icon for the bot
ā¢ Slack Channel: Where the message will be posted
ā¢ Summary: This field supports markdown formatting for your message
ā¢ Form Information (optional): For structured data presentation
The Summary field is specifically markdown-enabled, so you can use markdown syntax to format your text with headings, bold, italics, lists, etc.
