hey team, is there an enrichment that can help me determine if a company does rail freight or not?

Hey Tarek! I don't think we have one that returns that information, but of course, if anyone else in the community who is experienced in this area knows of a few then we can check them out. The alternative I guess would be to scrape their website or find keywords in it.

Hey Tarek, Not sure if this is helpful but I would start with an AI such as Google Bard to generate a list of potential companies that do rail freight. From there you could start with a Google Business search and work the table from there. That’s at least what I would try..

Hey Brandon C.! Thank you for your help! I tried using Bard to get a list of European companies using railfreight, I'm just afraid the data might not be exhaustive 🙂

Hi Tarek F. no problem! Did you ask Bard for an exhaustive list? Perhaps even tell it to not list any companies it has not already mentioned. Try that, and maybe try Claude.ai as well.

Yes, I tried that with Bard, even tried a lookalike approach. I'll try Claude, thank you Brandon C.! Do you have good results with Claude.ai? are you on the free version? I haven't tried it yet 🤓

Yes, I usually explore with all three of ’em (ChatGPT, Claude, Bard) and experiment to see which result works best. Sometimes I’ll even “waterfall” them to pick up where one lacks context if that makes sense!

As an example, you could identify just one company you’re looking for, then ask one of the AI’s to find lookalikes of that particular one. May have to experiment a bit but I’m sure it can be surfaced.
