Accidentally deleted an entire column of important company info, i have it in a csv however, is there a way that i can just import that column from the csv back into my table?
๐ค You've caught us outside of our support hours (9am-9pm EST), but don't worry - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in the thread below so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey Noah! Thanks for reaching out! ๐ Here's a workaround that might help: First, create a copy of the CSV file and keep only the two columns you want to import, such as the one with the data you need and an identifier column like domain. Next, create a new table and import the CSV file with these two fields. In the original table, create a lookup single column to match the identifier column with the two-column table. After that, run the integration and map out the column you were missing. Hope this solution works for you! ๐ If this is still unclear, happy to send over a loom with a working example.
Yes, you can use the "Lookup" feature in Clay. Here's how you can do it: 1. Click the "Add Enrichment" button at the top right of the page within your Clay table. 2. Type "Lookup" in the search bar. 3. Choose "single" or "multiple lookup" based on your needs. 4. Use the Lookup feature to pull data from your CSV file to fill in the missing information in your table. This process will allow you to match and import the specific column data from your CSV back into the existing rows of your table without creating new rows. Remember to map the correct fields during the lookup to ensure the data is added accurately. If you need a step-by-step guide on how to perform a single row lookup, you can refer to the following link: Lookup Single Row in Other Table with Clay.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
