Hi Support I am experiencing different errors when trying to upload CSV files to a table. The tables are relatively small with 46 rows. Is this a known issue?
There shouldn't be any issues with uploading a CSV file of 46 rows, as our system can handle up to 50,000 rows per table.Let me guide you through the correct process to ensure a successful import:1. For an existing table: • Open your table • Click "Actions" • Select "Import" • Upload your CSV file by clicking "Browse Files" or drag and drop 2. After uploading: • Map your CSV columns to the Clay table fields • Choose whether to add to the current table or create a new one • Decide if you want to automatically enrich the new rowsIf you're still experiencing errors, please request a human agent to help investigate the specific errors you're encountering. Hey Matthew! Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help✨. Could you share the csv you're trying to import? You can send this via dm. We'll run some tests.
Hi Daniela Thanks for your reply. I just tried this again, now at a different physical location and it seems to work ok. There were no bandwidth restrictions where I was previously working but could the problem be related to the specific network that I was connected to?
actually, there is still a problem with some lists. please see this one, which is currently not uploading with the same error...
maybe because there are special characters in some of the rows?
Hey Matthew! Thanks for sharing. That doesn't appear to be the case. I ran a test with your csv and successfully imported all records. It may be related to your connection. Could you try re-connecting to your network provider and re-importing the CSV?
I am now able to upload it - with the same connection. Strange
thanks for your help
Happy to help! Let us know if it keeps happening during uploads.
