Request for Total Company Count Feature in Search Preview

I noticed that the total number of companies in a search is not appearing in my preview. This feature is highly valuable as it helps me review and refine my search criteria effectively. Could you please check this and let me know if there’s a solution or workaround? Currently, I can only import the data into a table to check the total number of companies in my search results. This process is cumbersome, and having a direct view of the total count within the search preview would be much more efficient.

    The preview may show different numbers due to how search filters and limits are applied. While you can see the total count after importing into a table, we recommend creating focused, targeted lists of 1K to 3K entries for better manageability and testing effectiveness.When there's a discrepancy between preview numbers and actual imports, this typically occurs because certain limits or filters are being applied to your search. These limits affect the final count of records that can be imported.To get the most accurate view of your search results:1. Review and adjust your search filter settings before importing 2.     Based on your description and video reference, it seems you're using the Preview Company feature. When using this feature, you should be able to review your search results by:1. Setting your desired search parameters 2. Clicking the "Preview Company" button 3.     Any table I create is the same. Most of my colleagues also face the same issue Unless the data is imported, we are unable to see the number of companies in the preview mode.     Thanks so much for taking the time to make the video. :) I've run some tests and it has do with the browser resolution. The preview shows but it's hidden. I file it as a bug but in the meantime can you do the following (I see you're using Microsoft edge): 1. Click on the 3 horizontal dots in the top right corner of the browser to display a drop-down list. 2. Scroll down to Zoom and click + to zoom in or click - to zoom out. Of course, let me know how this goes and if the issue persists, happy to dive deeper here :)

    Thanks Daniel. This is resolved. I have few suggestion on the tool, is this the right platform to discuss the below? Regional Selection Improvement:

    • Could countries be grouped into larger geos/continents (e.g., Europe, APAC, etc.)? It’s currently tedious to select individual countries within these regions.

    Easier Selection/Deselection of Companies:

    • Is there a way to streamline selecting or deselecting companies from a table? Ideally, it would be helpful to have a bulk action feature instead of selecting each entry manually. This is particularly useful for creating new tables with similar specifics without altering the existing one.

    Filters Clarification:

    • What’s the difference between the "Start With Description" filter and the "include from Description" filter? Do they function as AND/OR operators in filtering?

    Thanks for reaching out! Regarding the Regional selection and easier selection features, I've already shared your feedback with our engineering team so they can better evaluate things and see if/where this might fit into the roadmap as a future improvement. As for the filter clarification, the "Start With Description" filter utilizes natural language description. So if you type in "Cybersecurity firms in Chennai (India)" it gives you a quick access to companies. I personally haven't used it a lot and mainly stick to the keyword approach. I would rather have a broader set of companies and then filter out in the table based on an AI column (e.g. is this company a B2B or B2C company?, business model, vertical, etc.) If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! 😊 Have a great Friday, Daniel

    Re Easier Selection/Deselection of Companies: could you share a bit more context/use case or details so I can guide you in the right direction?     Hey there, it will imply a presence or office location. For HQ locations, you can use the LinkedIn location data as it usually shows headquarters. However, you will need to to enrich using the "Enrich Company" integration to find their exact address!
