I'm starting a Clay table with an import from an Airtable, but it keeps missing 1 of the columns (a date column). I've tried resyncing but still the same.
To fix the missing date column from your Airtable import, you'll need to ensure the correct data type is set for the column in Clay. Here's how to handle it:1. Right-click the column where the date should appear 2. Select "Edit Column" > "Select Data Type" 3. Choose the appropriate date format 4. Click "Save Settings"Once the data type is set correctly, you can use Clay's Format Date/Time feature to ensure proper date formatting. This will help transform the date values into your desired format and make them compatible with your table. the problem is the field doesn't even appear as an option in the clay column for the Airtable import. It only shows 6 fields but there are 7.
When importing CSV data into Clay, including data from Airtable, some columns might not appear as options during the import process. This could be due to how Clay interprets the data types. For date columns specifically, the issue might be related to how the date format is recognized. Clay's import process involves matching CSV columns to Clay table fields, and if the date format isn't standard or recognized, it might not be properly identified. To resolve this, you could try the following:1. Check the date format in your Airtable export 2. Ensure the column header is clearly labeled 3. If possible, try exporting the Airtable data in a different date formatIf the issue persists, it might be helpful to know more about the specific date format you're using. Could you provide an example of how the dates are formatted in your Airtable column? Hey there Jared thanks for reaching out, how can I help you today?
I had an airtable with 7 fields, but clay was only brining in 6. There was a date field it wouldn't bring in. Wasn't shown in the array. Couldn't figure it out.
Glad to hear it's fixed - Happy Christmas Eve ๐ ๐
