Hi, I have a list of about 1230 and I have run a company lookalike search. How do I map all of the different companies to a new table? I did it once already where I mapped the results to a new table, and I got 12k rows. Although, when I enabled auto-dedupe, it reduced to 49. Is this because all of the lookalike companies for each row where the same and there we only 49 unique ones? I basically want to know if the method that I did imported all of the lookalike companies, or just the ones from the cell I clicked "write to new table" on.
💤 You've caught us outside of our support hours (9am-9pm EST), but don't worry - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in the thread below so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey Tom, thanks for reaching out! Write to table is the best method here to map all the lookalike results to a new table. When you select write to new table, the new column will run on all rows so all of the companies in each row should be sent to a new table, not just the cell you selected it for. Which column did you enable Auto-dedupe on? We typically recommend deduping on a unique identifier such as LinkedIn url. If you deduped on a non-unique identifier such as "Country" for example this could explain why you are seeing such a significant drop in results. I've attached more info on auto-dedupe below. If you share the table you're working from I can take a closer look :) [App: Article Inserter]
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
