Understanding Clay's Credit System: How They Work & How to Determine the Right Amount for Your Company

Hello everyone! I'm the COO of a lead generation company. I'm very excited to start using Clay, but I have a lot of questions about how the credits work. Could someone please explain in detail how they function, how they are spent, and how to determine the right amount for my company?

Overall, when you enrich data (Finding emails, tech stack, open jobs, etc) you are charged X clay credits per row

Finding emails for example costs ~ 3 credits

If you want to find emails for 2000 people, that would be 3 credits per person = 6,000 credits total

In general, you can always upgrade/downgrade directly in product

So you can start small and upgrade as needed

I'd recommend using your free trial though to play around with a few small batches to better understand how credits work and what volume you'd need!
