Hey guys, I used Clay enrichment "Generate Email Permutations". As a result I got a csv list. How can I transform this into a list or something that can be validated by an email validator? Thanks https://app.clay.com/workspaces/259185/workbooks/wb_3ibE6BZgXByK/tables/t_XByoKz3b6A4A/views/gv_eBgpAiGgshiM
You can validate the email permutations using any of our email validation integrations. We support multiple validation providers including: ** Enrichley ** LeadMagic ** NeverBounce ** ZeroBounce (our default validator)The "Generate Email Permutations" feature provides the output in two formats: ** An array of permutations ** A comma-separated listBoth formats are compatible with our email validation actions. You can directly use either format with any of the validation providers mentioned above to verify the validity of the generated email addresses. Each validator will check factors like syntax, domain existence, and mailbox availability to determine if the emails are valid. The validation results will include a status indicating whether each email is valid or invalid. Augustin R. email permutations are going to run a costly muck trying to validate within clay. Youd' be better off just using an email waterfall sequences with integrations like icypeas, leadmagic, findymail, prospeo, etc. If you are looking to build a "tool" to validate permutations I would look into deploying a n8n workspace and automate validating permutations using a tool like Reoon. https://appsumo.com/products/reoon-email-verifier/#overview
The email permutations generated by Clay are already in formats that are compatible with email validation services. The output comes in two ready-to-use formats: 1. An array of permutations 2. A comma-separated listYou can directly use either format with our built-in email validation services. By default, we use ZeroBounce for validation, but you can also choose other providers like Enrichley or LeadMagic. When validating emails, you can choose whether to include catch-all emails in your results. By default, catch-all emails are marked as valid, but if you want to be more selective, you can enable the "only mark safe to send" option to exclude catch-all emails from your valid email list. Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
Hey Nico M. validating emails with leadmagic is free if the email is invalid!
This is true but you'll be running tons of rows. why not just pipe in the information of the person you are trying to find an email for instead of testing permutations?
It's just cheaper to validate emails than to find them
Hey Augustin - Happy Tuesday Yes, here's how: 1. Use "Write to Other Table" and select the email permutations list (you'll see small arrows beside it) 2. Include a matching field (like LinkedIn URL or full name) for reference (in other data from this table) 3. Create a new table and run the validation there 4. Remove invalid emails 5. Return to your main table and lookup to the email table using your matching values to bring the validated email. Need help setting up any of these steps?
Hey thanks Bo (.! Thanks I could do it !! I actually messed up! I wanted to delete a table and deleted the whole work book who has 26k rows... I took it out of the trash but one table has no data inside...the company table
Btw how can I send the rest of the list to another table when the 50k rows have been reached?
Hey Augustin! 1. Can you check if your deleted tables show up individually in trash - workbook deletion should split in tables there. Can't see them in your current workspace - Possible it's in another workspaces? I also tried to replicate this on my end and was able to recuperate it. Is this possible that it was coming from a live source/signal/webhooks? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1355365103/5bfbc72c9fac9432a423a20fd88b/CleanShot+2025-01-28+at+_33OGLzfsPA%402x.png?expires=1738096200&signature=47d2015ef3fca97c087fbdf58636dc061d2fa69609592597a0a485a3ea2d697f&req=dSMiE8p4mIBfWvMW1HO4zfGiwToztpJPmoJSS4at6%2F4VN8C85Yh%2Fhuqj3ikY%0A6WCJ%0A 2. For hitting 50k row limits: Yes you can add a new write to other table with a condition to run only if previous table didn't process. This will allow for that split
