Hey team, I'm struggling with the new update from HG Insights. This post indicates that I can just put in a vendor (e.g. Google Cloud), but my experience so far is that I still have to select individual technologies, which I don't really want to do for a few hundred. 🙂 Thoughts? https://clayrunhq.slack.com/archives/C0260HJ1MTL/p1764167330535379
You're right about the new UI! With the HG Insights refresh, you can now select entire software categories or parent companies instead of individual products. [1]
Try using Vendor domains (like google.com) or Product categories in the dropdown to target broader groups instead of selecting individual technologies. [2] This lets you select all Microsoft products or Adobe tools with one click instead of choosing from 475+ individual options.
If you can't find what you need in the product dropdown, use vendor domains and product categories to narrow it down first.
Is that what you were looking for?
This is what I was looking for, but it's not working.

Hey Andrew - the upper dropdowns for vendor, etc. filter down the dropdown in the product selection where you ultimately must choose
Hope this helps!
Hi Hari - Thanks for the help. This is not what was described in Owen's Product Roundup video. Would you mind taking a look at what he presented?
Hey Andrew - attaching a snippet of the behavior below which functions as Owen described. The Vendor, Product Category, and Product Attributes filters change the dropdown options for you to select in the final product selection
Yes, but what Owen said in the demo video is that you only have to select the vendor and all applicable products would be applied. Have you watched his demo?

Hey there Andrew thanks for reaching out, To give some more detail the menu you're looking for is located here under the Products option when you click on this to apply a filter this is what you'll be able to go ahead and select a single vendor
Thanks LuisArturo. When I was selecting a vendor only, the continue field was greyed out. I missed the small "Select all" link under the products selector. That seems to work. Thanks!
