Hello! Technical question. Is ZeroBounce embedded in the waterfalls to "Find Work Email" or does it have to be added as a separate column. I'm seeing a discrepancy between what is being found as valid by tools like "Findymail" and Zerobounce.
ZeroBounce is embedded in the email waterfalls by default. When you set up a "Find Work Email" waterfall, Clay automatically includes email validation using ZeroBounce as the default validation service. The discrepancies you're seeing between Findymail and ZeroBounce likely occur because different validation services use different methods to determine email validity. By default, Clay considers catch-all emails as valid, which might explain some differences. If you want to see the validation details, you can unhide the validation columns that exist behind the scenes to understand why certain emails are marked valid or invalid.
Hey there Alesandro thanks for reaching out, to clarify if you are using an email waterfall than the Email validator is embedded inside of the waterfall. One thing to note for the discrepancies between Findymail and Zero bounce is that each email validator has it own set of criteria for what makes an email valid vs invalid, which why some providers may provide different responses when it comes to emails.
