is it possible to create a table in clay starting from an apollo list, or a crunchbase saved search? if not, which will be for you the workaround considering the csv export limitations?
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) 🫶 Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table 😉
Hey Esteban, thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, those providers have limited rates and API services so it’s best to download or scrape a CSV from those sources directly and then import the CSV into Clay for enrichment. Hope this helps a bit!
thanks Arturo, one more question how do I prevent to re add same rows into a table? like based in this example, If I accidentally rescrape same records, and a company comes again in a csv file. is there a way to prevent those records to be created, or a workaround for deleting duplicates?
Sorry for the delay, Esteban. Had quite a few calls today!
I'd recommend turning the table off, clicking on the column header that may have duplicate values, and then using the dedupe feature to get rid of them. That would help save on credits. There's also a more automated way for this, by using the Lookup record integration to search if the value already exists in the same or a different table and you can then use conditional formulas to prevent other columns from running; this doesn't remove duplicates though... Here's a video and our docs page for Lookup Record!
Here's an example of how to setup a lookup for DNC - https://www.loom.com/share/80d613c10d5248f6bfc662cc95c8023d Based on matches, you can set up conditional formulas so existing records don't get enriched or contacted.
