Is there a current function built into Clay that would run a column based on a pre set schedule?
For sources (like Find Company, Find People, and Find Job searches), you can set up scheduled runs at daily, weekly, or monthly frequencies. Here's how to set it up: 1. Click the header of the source column 2. Hover over "Sources" 3. Select your desired source 4. Under "When should we run this source?", choose "On a schedule" and select your preferred frequencyHowever, for data enrichments, scheduled runs are not currently available, though this feature is being actively developed. Note that if you're using a table with a CRM source, it will automatically update through a two-way sync every 24 hours. I already have all the enrichments done, was just curious if there was an enrichment or prompt that I can use to update 50 accounts every 7 days rather than assign the list all at ounce or come back once a week to manually do it
Currently, you cannot directly schedule enrichments to automatically run on a specific interval like every 7 days. However, there are two alternative approaches you can consider: 1. If you're using a CRM integration, your data will automatically sync and update every 24 hours through a two-way sync. 2. For a more strategic approach, you can: • Add a "Last Enrichment Date" property to your records • Create a dynamic list in your CRM that captures contacts whose information hasn't been refreshed within your desired 7-day timeframe • Import this list into Clay, which will update daily (or more frequently on enterprise plans) • Clay will then only add new contacts to the refresh list when their Last Enrichment Date falls outside your specified rangeWhile manual enrichment is still required, you can easily re-enrich up to 50,000 records in a single table with just one click. This is the video Im referring to. Would the same logic work for a different use case
Ouday, scheduled columns would be a feature request. And the good news is, we already have this on our radar. I don't have a hard timeline to give you, but I understand it to be a higher-priority item. So keep an eye out. :) The principles outlined in the video would be the best sort of stopgap – some schedule-able service outside of Clay sending data on a recurring basis.
