Network Error When Uploading Spreadsheet: Seeking Solutions

Running into this network error again while trying to upload a spreadsheet - saw this problem pop up over the last few days in other threads. any fixes or just hang tight?

For CSV upload network errors, try these fixes: Quick troubleshooting: ** Clear your browser cache and refresh the page ** Log out of Clay and log back in to refresh your session File optimization: ** Keep your CSV under 72 columns and 50,000 rows ** Use UTF-8 encoding with comma separators ** Shorten the file name ** Upload to Google Sheets first, then re-download as CSV and try again These steps resolve most upload issues caused by formatting or session problems.

It’s a known issue lately usually temporary. Try: Refreshing Clay Re-uploading in incognito mode Splitting the file into smaller chunks I hope this works.

Thanks! the smaller chunks worked but they're uploading into different tabs. how do I combine them?

Hi Tiffany, Thank you for reaching out to the support team. If you want to combine data from multiple tabs in your workbook into one table, there are a couple of easy ways to do it, I've made a quick loom on how to do it for Option 1: https://www.loom.com/share/33f3c9f74c294a96923cc1f417a12396?sid=8b71d7d8-8517-4317-9093-6dc01c6a7626 here’s how: Option 1: Use the "Write to Table" column ** Open one of the tabs you want to merge ** Add a "Write to Table" column ** Choose whether to send the data to a new table or an existing one ** This will copy all the rows from that tab into the destination table ** Repeat the same steps for the other tabs you want to include ** You’ll end up with a single table that contains everything Option 2: Start fresh and import from multiple tabs ** Create a new table (either on its own or as another tab in your workbook) ** When setting it up, choose "Import from Clay Table" ** Select each of the tabs you want to pull data from ** Clay will automatically merge the data into the new table Let me know if you have any further questions.
