Identifying Issues with Claygent Data Fetching for Sales/Marketing Contacts

Ā·

Hey team, trying to see if a list of contacts' job titles are directly related to sales/marketing, to clean out the list. What are potential reasons that Claygent isn't able to fetch the data from the cells? Here's the table and screenshots: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/449716/workbooks/wb_iXj5oKYEjP2G/tables/t_EC22erYTXGV3/views/gv_nMUPWmQcv59W About 100+/700 couldn't find the info from cell when it's right there, ran it again in a duplicate column and still got 41 left

Here are the potential reasons why job title data might not be fetching properly: 1. Data Type Mismatch: ā€¢ The data type in your Clay table might not match the required format for job titles 2. API Request Issues: ā€¢ Missing or incorrect quotation marks around string values ā€¢ Improper JSON formatting ā€¢ Extra spaces, colons, or hidden characters in the data ā€¢ Invalid or missing API keys 3. Provider Data Issues: ā€¢ The data provider might be unable to return valid data for those specific cells ā€¢ In such cases, while the API call is still charged, you'll receive a refund if the provider acknowledges the invalid data returnTo troubleshoot, try: ** Checking your data formatting ** Verifying API credentials * Reviewing for any hidden characters by pasting the data into a text editor Sources: HTTP API with JWT authentication | Documentation | Clay University Hubspot integration overview | Documentation | Clay University Providers Do Not Return Valid Data

Hey! The issue is that Claygent needs clear direction about which field contains the job titles. While you've linked the dynamic values correctly, just dropping them in the prompt isn't enough - Claygent needs to explicitly know "this is the job title" Simply adding the context fixed it as you can see. I've made the changes and it should all work.
